Murray completed his high school education at Onondaga Central High School in New York, where he played football as a running back and a linebacker. After finishing college, Murray was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Oakland Raiders in 2013. During his four-year stint with the Raiders, he emerged as one of the most productive running backs in the league. In 2015, he rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored six touchdowns, earning him a place in the Pro Bowl. He then signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2017, where he continued to demonstrate his prowess in the game. In his first season with the Vikings, he helped the team reach the NFC championship game.

Murray is known for his speed, agility, and power on the field. He is also respected for his leadership skills and his willingness to work hard to achieve his goals. On the field, he has demonstrated an ability to both run and catch the ball, making him a versatile asset to any team that he plays for.
