Leon Lett Autographs
Leon Lett is a former American professional football player who played as a defensive lineman. He was born on October 12th, 1968 in Fairmont, North Carolina. Leon had a thriving career in football that spanned over a decade and was known for his agility, and courageousness on the field.
Lett began his football career playing for Western Carolina University. He played college football for three seasons and was named an All-American in 1990. He was then drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1991 NFL Draft where he spent the majority of his career. Lett was an integral part of the Cowboys' success in the 1990s, helping them win three Super Bowls between 1992-1995. Despite being talented, Leon was also an athlete who encountered several controversies on the field, the most notable being his two costly mistakes that were made in the Super Bowl XXVII and Super Bowl XXX defeats.
Lett retired from football in 2001, and he didn't have as much success off the field as on the field. He faced several addiction-related issues and served two suspensions from the league. Nevertheless, Leon Lett's success on the football field remains undeniable, with his ability to terrorize the opposing team's offensive line, and his impact on the game. Today, Leon is a defensive line coach and continuing his legacy on the football field by instilling the same unique toughness he had as a player into his upcoming students.
