Leonard Floyd Autographs
Leonard Floyd is an American football outside linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on September 8, 1992, in Dublin, Georgia, and grew up in a family of athletes. Floyd attended Dodge County High School, where he excelled in both football and basketball. In his senior year, he was ranked as the third-best linebacker in the country and received several scholarship offers from well-known universities.
After graduating high school, Floyd chose to attend the University of Georgia, where he played for the Georgia Bulldogs. During his three years at college, he totaled 182 tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, 17 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 10 pass deflections. In 2016, Floyd was selected by the Chicago Bears with the ninth overall pick in the NFL draft. During his four seasons with the Bears, he became one of the most dominant pass rushers in the NFL. In 2020, he signed a one-year contract with the Rams and contributed to their defensive success by recording 10.5 sacks and 55 tackles in the regular season. The Rams later signed Floyd to a four-year extension worth $64 million, solidifying his position as a key player for the team.
In addition to his success on the field, Floyd is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. He has been vocal about his struggles with anxiety and depression, which he attributes to the pressure of playing in the NFL. Floyd hopes that by sharing his story, he can help break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage others to seek help if needed.
