Limas Sweed is a former American football player who is best known for his time with the University of Texas Longhorns and the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. He was born on December 25, 1984, in Brenham, Texas, and from a young age showed promise in the sport. In 2008, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Sweed in the second round of the NFL draft. He played for the team for two seasons before an injury cut his career short.
