In 2010, Marcus Lattimore signed with the University of South Carolina, where he quickly became one of the best running backs in the nation. He led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in rushing touchdowns during his freshman year, and finished his career with 38 total touchdowns, earning him the title of the most decorated running back in South Carolina’s history. Unfortunately, his college career was cut short due to a devastating knee injury in 2012, but he was able to recover enough to be drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2013.

In the NFL, Marcus Lattimore was unable to make a comeback from his previous knee injury, and he was forced to retire in 2014. Despite his short NFL career, he will be remembered as one of the greatest college football players of all time, and his story will continue to inspire future generations of players. Marcus Lattimore now works as the Director of Player Development for the University of South Carolina, where he uses his experiences to help guide and mentor young players, both on and off the field.
