Marcus Pollard Autographs
Marcus Pollard was born in Gaffney, South Carolina on February 8, 1972. He attended Valley Falls High School where he played both football and basketball. Pollard later attended Bradley University where he focused on football. He played tight end and was named an All-American twice during his time at Bradley.
In 1995, Pollard signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. He spent twelve seasons with the Colts, where he became known as one of the NFL's most productive tight ends. In 2004, he had a career-high 16 touchdowns and recorded 1,240 receiving yards. Pollard was also a three-time Pro Bowl selection and earned All-Pro honors in 2003.
After leaving the Colts, Pollard played for the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and the Atlanta Falcons. He retired after the 2008 season, finishing his NFL career with 8,619 receiving yards and 40 touchdowns. Aside from his success on the field, Pollard has also dedicated his time to giving back to the community. He founded the Marcus Pollard Foundation which focuses on helping underprivileged children in the Indianapolis area.
