Marcus Trufant Autographs
Marcus Trufant was born on December 25, 1980, in Tacoma, Washington. He attended Wilson High School in Tacoma, where he played football as a cornerback and wide receiver. He was a standout player in the league and was named a first-team all-state defensive back. He later attended Washington State University, where he played for the Cougars for four years. Trufant was a three-time first-team All-Pac 10 selection and was also named first-team All-American in 2002.
In 2003, Trufant was drafted in the first round (11th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks. He quickly became a starter for the team, and during his ten seasons with the Seahawks, he established himself as one of the league's top cornerbacks. Trufant was a key player in the Seahawks' 2005 Super Bowl run, earning both Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections that season. In 2013, he signed a one-day contract with the Seahawks and officially retired from the NFL after spending his final season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Off the field, Trufant is actively involved in the community, particularly in his hometown of Tacoma. Through his Trufant Family Foundation, he has established educational and athletic programs for underprivileged youth in the area. He also helps with a variety of charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club. Trufant's career both on and off the field has made him a beloved figure in Washington State and NFL history.
