Mark Duper Autographs
Mark Duper is a retired American football wide receiver who was born on January 25, 1959, in Louisiana. Duper was a dynamic playmaker who enjoyed a highly successful career in the National Football League (NFL) which spanned 11 illustrious seasons. Despite not being selected in the 1982 NFL Draft, Duper was eventually signed by the Miami Dolphins as a free agent that same year. His first season in Miami saw him record 20 catches for 274 receiving yards and two touchdowns which was a promising start to his NFL career.
Duper quickly established himself as one of the most reliable and productive players on the Miami Dolphins roster. He formed a formidable partnership with fellow wide receiver Mark Clayton and together, they became one of the most iconic and feared duos in the NFL during the 1980s. During his career, he was selected to three Pro Bowl teams (1983, 1984, 1986) and was a two-time All-Pro selection (1983, 1984). Duper was also the recipient of the Mighty Dolphin Award, which was bestowed upon him by the Miami Dolphins for being the most outstanding player during the 1986 season.
After a highly successful career with the Miami Dolphins, Mark Duper retired from the NFL in May 1993. His impact on the NFL cannot be understated and his role in revolutionizing the wide receiver position continues to influence the game to this day. Duper maintained an impressive 15.5 yards-per-reception average and amassed a total of 8,869 receiving yards and 59 touchdowns during his career. He will forever be remembered as one of the most dynamic and explosive players to ever grace the NFL field and a true football icon.
