Mark Moseley is a retired American football placekicker who played for several teams over a 16-year career from 1970 to 1986. He was born on March 12, 1948, in Laneville, Texas, and attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he played college football. After leaving the Redskins, Moseley played for the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles before retiring in 1986. He finished his career with 1,382 points and a field goal percentage of 65.2%, making him one of the most accurate kickers of his time. He was named to the Pro Bowl twice and was also a three-time All-Pro selection. Moseley is perhaps most remembered for his accuracy and clutch performances, making him one of the greatest placekickers in NFL history.
