Moseley joined the Washington Redskins in 1974 and played for them for ten seasons, during which he achieved some of his most significant accomplishments. He was the NFL's leading scorer in 1982, the year he won the league MVP award, becoming the only kicker to win the award in NFL history. In the same year, he also set a franchise record with a 95.2% success rate in field goals, which still stands today. Moseley was instrumental in leading the Redskins to the Super Bowl XVII championship in 1983. In the game, he made a crucial 42-yard field goal that tied the score, leading to a 27-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

After leaving the Redskins, Moseley played for the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles before retiring in 1986. He finished his career with 1,382 points and a field goal percentage of 65.2%, making him one of the most accurate kickers of his time. He was named to the Pro Bowl twice and was also a three-time All-Pro selection. Moseley is perhaps most remembered for his accuracy and clutch performances, making him one of the greatest placekickers in NFL history. Following his retirement, he became a motivational speaker and worked as an analyst for various television stations covering NFL games. Read even more about Mark Moseley at Wikipedia
