Matt Bryant Autographs
Matt Bryant is a retired American football placekicker who played for multiple teams in the National Football League (NFL). Born on May 29, 1975, in Orange, Texas, Bryant attended high school in Bridge City, Texas. Despite being a standout athlete in both football and soccer, he initially struggled to break into the NFL. However, his perseverance and hard work eventually paid off when he landed a spot on the New York Giants' practice squad in 2002.
Despite being waived by the Giants, Bryant would eventually establish himself as one of the most reliable placekickers in the league during his 17-year career. He played for the New York Giants, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Atlanta Falcons. He became a fan favorite during his time with the Falcons, where he played for ten seasons from 2009 to 2019. During his tenure with the Falcons, he set a team record for longest field goal at 59 yards and was named to Pro Bowl in 2016.
After announcing his retirement in 2020, Bryant finished his career with 1,690 points scored, making him the NFL's 13th all-time leading scorer. He also holds numerous franchise records, including the most field goals made and longest field goal in Falcons' history. In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Bryant is also known for his philanthropy work in the community. He established the "Matt Bryant Kicks for Kids" program, which helped provide shoes for underprivileged children in Georgia. Bryant's consistent success, impressive longevity, and dedication to giving back to his community have made him a legendary figure in the world of American football.
