Mike Mickens Autographs

Mike Mickens is a renowned American football player known for his impressive career in college football at the University of Cincinnati. Mickens was born on July 28th, 1987, in Huber Heights, Ohio. He attended Wayne High School in Huber Heights, where he started his journey in football as a cornerback. He played 4 seasons for the Wayne High School Warriors, where he helped lead the team to two consecutive Ohio Division 1 State Championships in 2004 and 2005.
Mickens continued his football career at the University of Cincinnati, where he played from 2006 to 2008. He was a star player for the Cincinnati Bearcats and was honored several times for his impressive performances. During his college career, he played in 39 games, starting 38 of them. He recorded 14 interceptions, returning two of them for touchdowns, 226 tackles, 49 passes, and broke up a total of 47 passes. His impressive college career led to multiple accolades, including First-Team All-Big East recognition in 2007, 2008, and the University of Cincinnati’s three-time team MVP award. Mickens was later inducted into the University of Cincinnati Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019, in recognition of his stellar career as a Bearcat.
Mickens’ impressive college career earned him recognition in the NFL, as he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. However, due to a knee injury, Mickens was unable to play in the NFL and retired from professional football in 2010. Despite his early retirement, Mickens is remembered as one of the best cornerbacks in college football history, and his achievements continue to inspire young football players today.
