Mike Pagel Autographs
Mike Pagel was a quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons. Born on November 2, 1960, in Fremont, Ohio, Pagel attended Arizona State University, where he became a standout player. His talents caught the attention of the NFL, and in 1982 the Baltimore Colts drafted him in the fourth round as the 84th overall pick. That same year, Pagel made his NFL debut as a rookie, playing in 10 games and finishing the season with five touchdowns and 1,098 passing yards.
Pagel's football career continued to progress in the NFL where he played for several teams, including the Indianapolis Colts, the Cleveland Browns, and the Los Angeles Rams. He played as a starting quarterback for the Colts for six seasons from 1982 to 1987, and he continued to set records throughout his career. In 1983, he placed second in the NFL with 3,039 passing yards and scored 16 touchdowns. In a game against the Seattle Seahawks, he threw for 431 yards, the single highest-passing total in Colts history.
Towards the end of his football career, Pagel was traded twice, and in 1991 he retired. He had started in 84 games, throwing for 96 touchdowns and 15,555 passing yards during his career. Mike Pagel will always be remembered as one of the most outstanding quarterbacks of his generation. As an athlete who dedicated his life to football, his incredible skill and on-field charisma remain unforgettable.
