Mike Pritchard Autographs
Mike Pritchard was born on October 12, 1969, in San Jose, California. He attended James Lick High School in San Jose, where he excelled in football and track. He later went on to play collegiate football at the University of Colorado, where he was a standout wide receiver. In his senior season, Pritchard was named a first-team All-American and won the Paul Warfield Award as the nation’s best receiver.
In 1991, Pritchard was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the NFL Draft. He spent four seasons in Atlanta, earning a reputation as one of the league’s most dynamic receivers. In 1995, he signed with the Denver Broncos as a free agent and became an immediate contributor to their championship- caliber team. In 1997, Pritchard helped the Broncos win their first Super Bowl title by catching seven passes for 93 yards in their victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Pritchard retired from the NFL after the 1999 season, having amassed over 6,900 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns in his ten-year career. He went on to work as an analyst for NFL Network, and he now serves as a head coach for a high school football team in his hometown of San Jose. Pritchard’s contributions to the game of football have been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including induction into the University of Colorado Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.
