Monte Kiffin Autographs

Kiffin is notably known as the innovator of the Tampa 2 defense. He is regarded as one of the greatest defensive minds in professional football history.
Kiffin's career in football began in 1966 as a defensive backs coach at the University of Nebraska. He had stints as a defensive coordinator for various teams before becoming the head coach of North Carolina State in 1980. However, Kiffin's most significant contributions came during his tenure as the defensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1996 to 2008. During this time, he developed the Tampa 2 defense, which became dominant in the league. He led the Buccaneers to their first-ever Super Bowl win in 2002. He also had coaching stints with several NFL teams, including the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Dallas Cowboys.
Kiffin was inducted into the Buccaneers' Ring of Honor in 2020, recognizing his contribution to the team's success. Kiffin retired from coaching in 2019 after a successful career that spanned over five decades.
