Morgan Burnett was born on January 13, 1989, in College Park, Georgia. He attended North Clayton High School, where he played football as a safety and wide receiver. During his time at Georgia Tech, Burnett established himself as a standout player, starting in all 38 games of his college career. He was named to the All-ACC first team in 2009 and decided to forgo his senior year to enter the NFL draft.
