Neil Lomax is a former American Football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1980s. Born in 1959 in Portland, Oregon, Lomax attended Wilson High School where he excelled in both football and basketball. He then went on to play college football at Portland State University, where he set numerous records and was a two-time All-American. After retiring from football, Lomax went on to coach at the high school and college levels before becoming a radio analyst for Portland State football games. He was inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1992 in recognition of his outstanding career as a quarterback. Lomax remains a popular figure among Cardinals fans and is considered one of the all-time greats in franchise history. His leadership, talent, and competitiveness on the field earned him respect and admiration from his teammates and opponents alike, and cemented his place as a legendary figure in the world of American Football.
