Nolan Cromwell Autographs
Nolan Cromwell is an American former football player and coach, best known for his career with the Los Angeles Rams. Born on January 30, 1955, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, Nolan grew up in Denver, Colorado, where he attended Thomas Jefferson High School. During his high school years, Nolan excelled in sports and was an all-around athlete. After graduating, he attended the University of Kansas, where he played college football and basketball.
In 1977, Nolan was drafted in the second round by the Los Angeles Rams, where he played for 11 seasons as a defensive back and a punt returner. He quickly established himself as a pro player, earning his first Pro-Bowl selection during the 1980 season. Nolan also proved to be a valuable asset to the team, becoming the Rams' special teams captain and a fixture in their defensive lineup. In total, he played in 163 games for the Rams, recording 37 interceptions, eight fumble recoveries, and six touchdowns.
Since retiring in 1987, Nolan has stayed involved in football as a coach. He began his coaching career at Texas Tech University, where he was an assistant coach for three seasons. In 1993, he returned to the Los Angeles Rams as a defensive backs coach before moving on to coaching roles with various teams such as Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and the Arizona Cardinals. Nolan's football legacy is not only seen in his playing days but also in his coaching abilities, which have helped shape many young football players into successful career athletes.
