Omar Jacobs Autographs
Omar Jacobs is a former professional football player who made a name for himself during his college career as a quarterback for Bowling Green State University. Born on January 1, 1984, in Delray Beach Florida, Jacobs attended Atlantic High School. He started his college football career at Florida State before transferring to Bowling Green, where he led the Mid-American Conference in passing yards and touchdowns, and set a school record.
Jacobs was drafted in the 5th round of the 2006 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. While he showed flashes of potential during his preseason appearances, he was never able to establish himself as a consistent performer at the NFL level. He spent time on the Steelers’ practice squad before being released in 2007, going on to play in the Arena League with the Philadelphia Soul, Cincinnati Jungle and Cleveland Gladiators.
After his football career ended, Jacobs briefly worked as an assistant coach at Western Kentucky University before going into private business. Despite his relatively brief career, Jacobs remains a beloved figure among Bowling Green Falcons fans, thanks to his record-setting performances on the football field. While he may not have become a star in the NFL, his achievements as a college player will always be remembered among fans and teammates alike.
