Quandre Diggs Autographs
Quandre Diggs was born on January 20, 1993, in Angleton, Texas. He was a standout athlete throughout his high school years, playing football, basketball, and track. In his senior year, he was named the District 24-4A MVP and was also a part of the academic All-State team. He committed to play football at the University of Texas at Austin, where he played for four years and earned several accolades.
During his time at the University of Texas, Diggs was a versatile player who befitted from his athleticism and athletic instincts. He played in all 12 games as a freshman and recorded 51 tackles, six pass breakups, and an interception. He improved each year, becoming one of the team's leaders in his senior year. Diggs finished his college career with 229 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 29 passes defended, and eight interceptions. The Detroit Lions selected Diggs in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
In his rookie season, Diggs played in 13 games, starting in three, and showed flashes of his talent. The next season he started all 16 games at safety and recorded a career-high 65 tackles, three interceptions, and nine passes defended. In 2018, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, where he played safety and sometimes cornerback. He continued to improve, recording 45 tackles and three interceptions in 2019, and becoming an integral part of the Seahawks' defense. In 2020, Diggs signed a three-year contract extension with the Seahawks, further cementing his role in their defense.
