Quentin Coryatt Autographs
Quentin Coryatt was born on August 1, 1970, in a small town called Aiken, South Carolina. He went to high school in Jasper, Texas, where he was a standout athlete in both football and basketball. After graduating, Coryatt attended Texas A&M University, where he became one of the top football players in the country.
Coryatt's football career at Texas A&M was nothing short of phenomenal. As a freshman, he was named the Southwest Conference Newcomer of the Year, and he went on to register 328 tackles and 9 sacks over his four-year college career. In 1992, after being selected as a First-Team All-American, the Indianapolis Colts drafted Coryatt with the second overall pick in the NFL Draft. During his time with the Colts, he became a key member of their defense and started all 16 games in each of his first four seasons with the team.
One of the most memorable moments of Coryatt's football career came in the 1995 playoffs. In a matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he made a huge hit on a pass play that ended up knocking the ball loose and leading to a critical interception. The play became famous for the sound that the collision made, and Coryatt was given the nickname "The Hitman." Overall, he played in the NFL for eight seasons and is remembered as one of the best linebackers of his time.
