Ralph Wilson Jr. was a prominent figure in American football as the founder and owner of the Buffalo Bills franchise in the National Football League (NFL). Born on October 17, 1918, in Detroit, Michigan, Wilson had a passion for football since childhood. He attended the University of Virginia and later the University of Michigan, where he received his degree in 1941. After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Wilson entered the business world and founded the Buffalo Bills football team in 1959. He owned the team until his death in March 2014.
