Randy Cross is a retired American football player, analyst, and radio host who played as an offensive lineman during his professional career. He was born on April 25, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Cross played college football at UCLA from 1973 to 1975, where he was a three-year starter and earned All-American honors in 1975. After his collegiate career, Randy Cross was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 1976 NFL Draft. He played his entire 13-year professional career with the 49ers, where he was an integral part of the team's success in the 1980s. Cross helped the 49ers win three Super Bowls during his time with the team, and he was named to three Pro Bowls in 1981, 1982, and 1983.
