Randy McMichael Autographs
Randy McMichael is a former American football player who played as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He was born on June 28, 1979, in Griffin, Georgia, and attended the University of Georgia, where he played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. McMichael was a standout player in college, recording 164 receptions for 2,290 yards and 13 touchdowns in his four-year career. He was named First-Team All-SEC twice and was a consensus All-American in his senior year.
McMichael was selected in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, where he spent the first six seasons of his career. He quickly established himself as a top-tier tight end, averaging over 500 receiving yards per season and scoring 18 touchdowns during his time in Miami. In 2004, he set a franchise record for receptions by a tight end with 73, earning him a Pro Bowl alternate nod. McMichael went on to play for the St. Louis Rams, the San Diego Chargers, and the Miami Dolphins again, ending his NFL career after the 2011 season with 8,389 receiving yards and 49 touchdowns.
Aside from his impressive stats, McMichael was also known for his versatility and durability as a player. He always played with an aggressive and physical style, which helped him excel as both a receiver and a blocker. Off the field, McMichael has worked as a football analyst and radio personality since retiring from football.
