Reggie McKenzie is best known for his impressive American Football career, which he kicked off in the 1970s while playing for the University of Tennessee. McKenzie played as a Guard and helped lead the Volunteers to many victories in the Southeastern Conference. After college, McKenzie was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 1972 NFL Draft. He continued his successful career with the Bills, playing as a Guard for seven seasons. During this time, he was named to the Pro Bowl twice and became known for his toughness and tenacity on the field. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks in the 1980 season and retired shortly after, having played in a total of 155 games and starting in 130 of them.

After retiring from playing, Reggie McKenzie transitioned into coaching and front office roles. He worked as a scout for the Green Bay Packers in the 1990s, helping them secure multiple Super Bowl victories. He also served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Oakland Raiders before being promoted to General Manager in 2012. During his time as General Manager, McKenzie helped rebuild the Raiders' roster, bringing in talented young players and building a strong team culture. His contributions to the Raiders were invaluable, and he is recognized as one of the most successful and respected individual in the sport.
