Rex Burkhead Autographs
Rex Burkhead, born July 2, 1990, is a professional football player in the NFL. He grew up in Plano, Texas and played football for the Plano Senior High School. In high school, Burkhead was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and track. He rushed for 1,762 yards and 28 touchdowns in his senior year and was recognized as a first-team all-state selection by the Associated Press.
Burkhead played his college football at the University of Nebraska, where he set multiple school records. He finished his college career as the fifth all-time leading rusher in Nebraska history with 3,329 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns. Burkhead was selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. He spent his first four years in Cincinnati before signing with the New England Patriots in 2017. Burkhead was a member of the Patriots when they won Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons.
