Ronnie Hillman is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for various teams including, the Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, and the Dallas Cowboys. Hillman was born on September 14, 1991, in Long Beach, California, and attended La Habra High School in California, where he played football, basketball, and track.
Hillman's college career began at San Diego State University, where he played as a running back for three seasons. In the 2011 season, Hillman set a Mountain West Conference record with 1,711 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns, establishing himself as one of the top running backs in college football. As a result, Hillman decided to forego his senior season and entered the 2012 NFL Draft, where he was selected in the third round by the Denver Broncos.
During his time with the Broncos, Hillman made significant contributions to the team, playing in two Super Bowls and achieving a career high of 863 rushing yards in the 2015 season. Hillman is regarded as one of the best runners of his time due to his ability to make quick cuts, speed, and agility. He retired from the NFL in 2018 after a six-year career in football. Hillman's legacy in American Football remains etched in the history of the sport, and his skillset will always be celebrated among fans who watched him play.
