Roydell Williams Autographs
Roydell Williams was born on August 14, 1981, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He played college football at Tulane University, where he had an impressive career as a wide receiver. Williams played for the Tulane Green Wave from 2000 to 2003, setting several records for most receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He finished his college career with 241 receptions for 3,683 yards and 27 touchdowns.
In 2004, Williams was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the NFL draft. He played four seasons in the NFL, all with the Titans, from 2005 to 2008. In his rookie season, he played in all 16 games, starting in three and recording 22 receptions for 312 yards and one touchdown. Williams' best season was in 2007 when he started in 10 games and had 55 receptions for 719 yards and four touchdowns. He retired from the NFL in 2009, having played in 50 games, started in 19, and finishing with 137 receptions for 1,846 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Outside of football, Williams is a devoted family man and an active community member. He is involved in several philanthropic organizations, including serving as a board member of the St. Bernard Project, which helps rebuild homes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Williams also gives back to his alma mater, Tulane University, by supporting various programs and initiatives to help develop future leaders.
