Ryan Leaf Autographs
Ryan Leaf was born on May 15, 1976, in Great Falls, Montana. He was a standout quarterback at Charles M. Russell High School, where he led his team to the state championship game in his senior year. After receiving many scholarship offers, Ryan decided to attend Washington State University, where he became one of the best quarterbacks in college football history.
During his college career, Leaf set several records, including passing yards in a single season and touchdown passes in a single season. In 1997, he led his team to a Rose Bowl appearance, where they narrowly lost to Michigan. After an outstanding season, Ryan was selected as the second overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
Although many people had high hopes for Ryan in the NFL, his career did not go as planned. He struggled with injuries and inconsistent play, and he ultimately bounced around between several teams before retiring in 2002. Despite his struggles in the NFL, Ryan remains one of the greatest college quarterbacks of all time and was inducted into the Washington State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.
