Sam Acho Autographs

Sam Acho is a retired American football player who spent nine seasons playing in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on September 6, 1988, in Dallas, Texas, and attended the University of Texas in Austin where he played college football as a defensive end. Acho was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and played for the team for four seasons, followed by stints with the Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Throughout his NFL career, Acho was known for his versatility and strong work ethic. He played primarily as an outside linebacker but could also play defensive end and contribute on special teams. Acho was a consistent performer on the field and was well-respected by his coaches and teammates. Off the field, Acho was a vocal leader and active in community service, earning him the NFLPA’s Byron “Whizzer” White Award in 2019, which recognizes players for their commitment to excellence in community service.
In March 2021, Acho announced his retirement from the NFL to pursue a career as a writer and analyst. He is the author of the book "Let the World See You: How to Be Real in a World Full of Fakes," which encourages readers to embrace their true selves and reject the pressure to conform. Acho also hosts a podcast called "The Athletes for Justice Podcast" where he and other athletes discuss social justice issues and how to use their platform for positive change. Despite no longer playing professionally, Acho continues to have a significant impact on the NFL and beyond through his advocacy work and writing.
