Sam Ehlinger Autographs
Sam Ehlinger is a highly accomplished American football quarterback who started his career at the University of Texas at Austin. Born on September 30, 1998, in Austin, Texas, Sam has spent most of his life preparing for a football career. He attended Westlake High School, where he made a name for himself as a talented player. As a freshman, he played backup quarterback, but by his junior and senior years, he had earned the starting quarterback position.
Ehlinger's career as a college quarterback took off in 2017, when he started his freshman year at the University of Texas. During his first year, he played in nine games and threw for 1,915 yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. The following year, 2018, was a standout season for Ehlinger. He played in all 14 games, threw for 3,292 yards, 25 touchdowns, and five interceptions while also rushing for 482 yards and 16 touchdowns. This earned him numerous accolades, including being named the 2018 Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
Heading into his senior year in 2020, expectations were high for Ehlinger. He continued to perform at an exceptional level, leading the Longhorns to a 7-3 record, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors for the second consecutive year. Ehlinger finished his college career with several school records, was drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and signed with the Indianapolis Colts, where he hopes to continue his football career in the NFL.
