Sam Madison Autographs
Sam Madison is a former American football player who played for the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants during his career in the National Football League (NFL). Born on April 23, 1974, in Thomasville, Georgia, Madison started his football career at the University of Louisville, where he was a standout cornerback. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1997 NFL draft and played with them for nine seasons before joining the New York Giants for his final two seasons.
During his time with the Miami Dolphins, Madison was part of one of the best defenses in the league. Along with his fellow cornerback, Patrick Surtain, Madison was part of a secondary that was dubbed the "Dynamic Duo." In 2000, the Miami Dolphins reached the playoffs, and Madison was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career. He went on to earn three more Pro Bowl selections in his time with the Dolphins.
After his tenure with the Dolphins, Madison joined the New York Giants as a free agent. His veteran leadership and experience were an asset to the team, and he played a pivotal role in helping the Giants win the Super Bowl XLII championship in 2008. Madison retired from professional football after the 2008 season and went on to start a career as a coach. He has worked as an assistant coach at various colleges and was recently hired as the defensive backs coach for the Kansas City Chiefs.
