Santana Dotson Autographs
Santana Dotson was born on September 5, 1969, in Houston, Texas. He attended Yates High School in Houston where he played both football and basketball. He went on to play college football at Baylor University where he was a standout defensive lineman. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, he didn't start his NFL career until the following year with the Green Bay Packers.
Dotson played for ten seasons in the NFL, eight of which were with the Packers from 1993 to 2000. During his time with the Packers, he was known for his tenacity and quickness off the ball. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1996 and was a member of the Super Bowl XXXI championship team. After leaving the Packers, he played one season each with the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons. In 2002, he retired from football and transitioned into a successful career in business.
Dotson is remembered as one of the most talented and hardworking defensive linemen of his era. He finished his NFL career with 61.5 sacks and 295 tackles. He is also recognized for his philanthropic work, particularly for his contributions to the American Diabetes Association. He is a member of the Baylor University Hall of Fame, the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
