Sean Lee Autographs
Sean Lee was born on July 22, 1986, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Upper St. Clair High School, where he excelled in both football and wrestling. He was a standout linebacker and tight end and was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Fabulous 22 team during his junior and senior years. Lee was also a two-time state wrestling champion in the 171-pound weight class.
Lee went on to attend Penn State University, where he played football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2005 to 2009. He was a three-time All-Big Ten selection and a two-time Academic All-American. In his senior year, Lee recorded 86 tackles and was named a first-team All-American by several publications. He finished his college career with 324 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss, and 11 interceptions.
In 2010, the Dallas Cowboys drafted Lee in the second round of the NFL draft. Lee quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the NFL. In 2011, he led the Cowboys in tackles with 131 and was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month in November. Injuries plagued Lee throughout his career, but he still managed to earn two Pro Bowl selections and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2016. At the conclusion of the 2020 season, Lee announced his retirement from the NFL.
