Sefo Liufau was born on October 22, 1994, in Tacoma, Washington. He is a former American football quarterback who played college football at the University of Colorado Boulder. He was regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in Colorado football history. Liufau started his American football career at Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, where he played as the team's quarterback. After college, Liufau entered the NFL draft in 2017 but went undrafted. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent but was released before the regular season. Liufau then signed with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2018. He played as a backup quarterback and took part in two regular-season games, completing eight passes for 50 yards. In August 2019, he was released by the Lions and then moved to the Spring League in the United States. However, he was not signed by any team after the League ended.
