Seneca Wallace is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was born on August 6, 1980, in Sacramento, California, and attended Sacramento High School, where he played quarterback and won many awards, including the All-Metro Offensive Player of the Year award. After graduating in 1998, he went on to play college football at Iowa State, where he set numerous school records and was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2002. Wallace was selected in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He served as a backup quarterback for his first three seasons in the league, but in 2006, he got his chance to start. In his first start, he led the Seahawks to a victory over the Oakland Raiders, passing for 226 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the season with 11 starts, passing for over 1,400 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions. Wallace ultimately played for four different NFL teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and New Orleans Saints, but he had the most success with the Seahawks. Overall, he played in 62 games, completing 452 of 764 pass attempts for 31 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.

Wallace retired from the NFL in 2013 but stayed involved in football by coaching at the high school and college levels. He served as an offensive analyst for Oregon State in 2018 and as an offensive coordinator at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien, Washington, in 2020. In addition to football, Wallace has also pursued other interests, including owning a fitness center and becoming involved in community work.
