Sheldon Richardson Autographs
Sheldon Richardson is a professional American football player who currently plays as a defensive tackle for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Born on November 29, 1990, in St. Louis, Missouri, Richardson developed a love for football from an early age. He attended Gateway Tech High School in St. Louis, where he was a standout player for the school's football team. During his senior year, he recorded an impressive 81 tackles and 17 sacks, which earned him a place in the Missouri All-State team.
After high school, Richardson enrolled at the University of Missouri, where he continued his football career as a defensive lineman. In his sophomore year, Richardson emerged as one of the best defensive players in the Big 12 conference, recording 77 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. In 2013, his junior year, Richardson won the SEC Defensive Player of the Year award after registering 75 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks. As a result of his impressive college career, Richardson was selected in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, where he spent the first four seasons of his professional career. During his tenure with the Jets, Richardson established himself as one of the best defensive linemen in the league, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2014, and making the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2013.
After four seasons with the Jets, Richardson was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2017, where he spent one season before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2018. Richardson signed a three-year contract with the Cleveland Browns in 2019, where he has played since. Throughout his career, Richardson has earned a reputation as a dominant defensive player, known for his speed, strength, and agility on the field. His contributions to the sport have earned him recognition as one of the best defensive linemen of his generation.
