Simon Fletcher Autographs
Simon Fletcher was born on February 18, 1962, in Bay City, Texas. He attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, where he played both football and basketball. He later went on to play football for the University of Houston, where he was a standout defensive end. In 1985, he was drafted in the second round by the Denver Broncos, where he would go on to play his entire 11-year career.
Fletcher quickly made an impact in his rookie season, tallying nine sacks and earning a spot on the NFL All-Rookie Team. He would continue to be a dominant force on defense, finishing his career with 97.5 sacks, which is still the all-time franchise record for the Denver Broncos. Fletcher's impressive NFL career earned him three Pro Bowl selections and two All-Pro honors. He was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 2016, cementing his place as one of the greatest players in franchise history.
Off the field, Fletcher has remained active in his community. He established the Simon Fletcher Charitable Foundation, which supports organizations serving at-risk youth in the Denver area. Fletcher has also been inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame and has been recognized for his contributions both on and off the field. Today, he is regarded as one of the most dominant pass rushers in NFL history and remains an inspiration to young players everywhere.
