Spencer Tillman Autographs
Spencer Tillman is a former American football player and a sports commentator. Born on April 21, 1964, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tillman played football at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a stand-out player as a fullback for the Sooners. He was a part of the 1984 National Championship team and was selected in the fifth round of the 1987 NFL draft by the Houston Oilers.
Tillman played six seasons in the NFL, with the Houston Oilers and the San Francisco 49ers. He was a valuable special teams player and backup running back. Tillman won two Super Bowl rings with the San Francisco 49ers in 1989 and 1990, and he retired from the NFL at the age of 29.
After retiring from football, Tillman pursued a career in sports broadcasting, working for CBS and later for FOX Sports. He is known for his insightful and engaging analysis of college football games, and he has an easygoing and friendly personality that has made him a popular commentator. Tillman has also been involved in philanthropic work, including serving as the chairman of the Spencer Tillman Foundation, which provides scholarships and other assistance to underprivileged youth in Oklahoma.
