Stanley Morgan Autographs
Stanley Morgan is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. Born on February 17, 1955, in Easley, South Carolina, Morgan was recognized as one of the best wide receivers in the history of the NFL. He played college football at the University of Tennessee, where he was an All-American selection in 1975.
Morgan was drafted by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1977 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as an elite receiver, finishing his rookie season with 44 receptions for 689 yards and five touchdowns. Morgan played for the Patriots for 10 seasons and was known for his remarkable speed and ability to make big plays. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and a two-time First-Team All-Pro selection. Morgan also holds the Patriots' all-time record for career touchdowns (67) and receiving yards (10,352).
In 1989, Morgan was traded to the Indianapolis Colts, where he played for three seasons before retiring after the 1990 season. During his career, he recorded 557 receptions for 10,716 yards and 72 touchdowns. Morgan was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2007, and his legacy as a dominant receiver in the NFL continues to inspire new generations of players.
