Steve Walsh is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. Born on December 1, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Walsh had an impressive collegiate career at the University of Miami, where he led the Hurricanes to a national championship title in 1987. Walsh's NFL career spanned from 1989 to 1999, during which he played for several teams, including the Chicago Bears, the Saint Louis Rams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Indianapolis Colts. While he was never able to replicate the success he experienced at the collegiate level, Walsh was still able to make significant contributions to the teams that he played for as a backup quarterback.
