Terrence Cody, also known as "Mount Cody," was a professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle. He was born on December 28, 1988, in Fort Myers, Florida, and grew up in Alabama, where he attended Riverdale High School in Fort Myers. Cody's American football career began in 2006 when he joined the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College football team. He later transferred to the University of Alabama, where he played for the Crimson Tide from 2008 to 2009. Playing a critical role in the team's victory in the 2009 BCS National Championship Game, Cody was recognized as one of the most dominant players in college football. In 2010, he was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the NFL Draft, and he played for the team for three seasons before being released in 2014.

Despite his promising start in the NFL, Cody struggled with several off-field issues, including weight problems and legal issues. He was also diagnosed with sleep apnea, which affected his performance on the field. Nonetheless, his contributions to Alabama's championship squad and his early success in the NFL cemented his legacy as one of the most promising defensive tackles in American football history.
