Born on October 26, 1963, Tony Casillas is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the school's football program for four years. In 1984, Casillas was the recipient of the Lombardi Award, given to the best lineman or linebacker in college football. This helped him earn a spot in the first round of the 1986 NFL draft, where he was selected by the Atlanta Falcons. More about Tony Casillas

During his career, Casillas was known as a dominant defensive tackle with excellent speed, quickness, and technique. He played for several teams including the Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Jets. Casillas was part of the Cowboys teams that won Super Bowl XXVII and Super Bowl XXVIII, and his stellar performance in the 1992 season earned him Pro Bowl honors. In 1994, he joined the Jets and played two seasons before retiring from the NFL in 1997.
