Tony Poljan Autographs
Tony Poljan is an American football player best known for his impressive college career at Central Michigan University. Born in 1997 in Lansing, Michigan, Poljan developed an early interest in football and played as a quarterback, tight end, and wide receiver at his high school, Lansing Catholic Central. He earned All-State honors as a quarterback during his senior year before deciding to join the Chippewas at Central Michigan University.
During his time at Central Michigan, Poljan played in over 40 games and became a key player for the team. He posted impressive numbers as a tight end, catching 103 passes for 1,304 yards and 11 touchdowns. In his senior year, Poljan also took on the role of quarterback for the Chippewas due to an injury to the starting quarterback. He excelled in this position, completing 60.4% of his passes for 1014 yards and seven touchdowns in just five games. His sudden switch to quarterback earned him a spot on the 2020-21 Academic All-District Football Team and a nomination for the Wuerffel Trophy, recognizing community service and leadership in college football.
After finishing his college career at Central Michigan, Poljan entered the 2021 NFL Draft. Though he went undrafted, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. Poljan faces stiff competition to make it to the starting roster of the Ravens, but his versatility and work ethic make him a player to watch out for in the future.
