Tony Tolbert Autographs
Tony Tolbert is a former American football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons. Tolbert was born on February 5, 1965, in Los Angeles, California. He attended college at the University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) and was ranked as one of the top defensive ends in the country during his senior year.
In 1989, Tolbert was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the NFL draft. He played as a defensive end for the team for ten years, collecting 59 sacks, two interceptions, and 15 forced fumbles. Tolbert was part of three Super Bowl-winning teams with the Cowboys during the 1990s. In 1998, Tolbert played for the Carolina Panthers for one year before returning to the Cowboys for his final season in 1999, where he finished his career with 98 sacks.
After his retirement, Tolbert has been actively coaching high school football teams in the Los Angeles area. He has also been inducted into the UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame and the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame. Tolbert's contributions to American football as a standout defensive end have secured him a legacy as one of the greats of the sport.
