Travis Frederick Autographs
Travis Frederick is a retired American football center. He was born on March 18, 1991, in Sharon, Wisconsin, and grew up in the small town of Walworth. Growing up, Frederick played multiple sports, including football, basketball, and baseball. However, it was on the football field where he excelled the most.
Frederick attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he played for the Wisconsin Badgers football team. He was a three-year starter at center and was named a consensus All-American in 2012. In the same year, he was also named the top center in the country and was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy. Frederick decided to forgo his senior year and declared for the NFL draft in 2013.
In the first round of the 2013 NFL draft, Frederick was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the 31st overall pick. He quickly became a key member of the Cowboys' offensive line and started all 16 games during his rookie season. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2014, 2015, and 2016 and was named a First-Team All-Pro in 2016. In 2019, Frederick was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Guillain-Barre syndrome, which forced him to sit out the entire 2018 season. He made a comeback in 2019 and played in all 16 games, but announced his retirement on March 23, 2020.
