Vince Ferragamo Autographs
Vince Ferragamo is a former American football quarterback who played professionally for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Ferragamo was born on April 24, 1954, in Torrance, California. He played college football at the University of Nebraska before being selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 1977 NFL Draft.
Ferragamo spent the first six seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Rams, where he played in 73 games, completing 56.5% of his passes for 10,930 yards, 59 touchdowns, and 70 interceptions. Ferragamo had his most significant success in his first season as a starter; he helped lead the Rams to the Super Bowl XIV in 1979, where they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ferragamo also had a noteworthy performance in the NFC Championship game against the Dallas Cowboys, where he threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns.
Ferragamo finished his career with stints on the Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes. Overall, Ferragamo played in 107 NFL games, threw for 15,146 yards, 96 touchdowns, and 68 interceptions. He retired from professional football in 1986 and has since worked as a financial consultant, as well as a commentator and analyst for NFL games. Despite the ups and downs of his career, Vince Ferragamo remains a respected figure in the world of American football.
