Wesley Walls was born on March 26, 1966, in Batesville, Mississippi, and grew up playing football. He attended Ole Miss, where he played tight end and was an All-SEC and All-American honorable mention in 1988. After college, Wesley was drafted in the second round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
