Brad Faxon is a retired American professional golfer known for his successful career on the PGA Tour. Born in Oceanport, New Jersey, in 1961, Faxon started playing golf at a young age and displayed remarkable talent. Faxon turned professional in 1983 and began competing on the PGA Tour in 1985. He won his first tour event, the B.C. Open, in 1991 and went on to win eight more events, including the Buick Classic twice. He was known for his superb putting skills and had one of the highest putting averages on tour throughout his career.
