Jodie Mudd Autographs
Jodie Mudd is a former American professional golfer born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1961. Mudd started playing golf at the age of eight and later went on to play golf for the University of Georgia. He made his professional debut in 1984 on the PGA Tour and won his first professional tournament at the Greater Milwaukee Open in 1987. He had a successful career on the PGA Tour, earning five career titles with his most successful season coming in 1989, where he won two events and finished 8th on the money list.
Mudd’s most iconic moment came in the 1991 PGA Championship when he claimed the title with a thrilling victory over Nick Faldo. Mudd was three shots behind Faldo going into the final round but managed to shoot a final round 68 giving him a one-shot victory. After his victory, he remained a popular figure on the PGA Tour, but his career started to decline, and he only managed to record one more top-10 finish in a major. He retired from professional golf in 2003 and focused on the family’s restaurant business.
After his retirement, Jodie Mudd remained actively involved in golf, and he continued to participate in Senior PGA events. His golf career was not only impressive, but he was also known for his easy-going personality and his dedication to supporting golfers of all ages. Today, Mudd is widely regarded as one of the most exciting golfers in PGA Tour history, and his 1991 PGA Championship victory remains one of the greatest moments in golfing history.
