Stalock made his NHL debut with the Sharks in 2010 and spent the majority of his early career with the team. In the 2013-2014 season, he had a breakout year as a backup goaltender, posting a .932 save percentage and a 1.87 goals-against average in 24 games. Stalock became known for his quick reflexes and aggressive style in the net. However, he suffered a significant leg injury in the 2014-2015 season that kept him sidelined for several months. After returning from his injury, he struggled to regain his form and was eventually traded to the Minnesota Wild in February 2018.

Since joining the Wild, Stalock has become a reliable backup goaltender and fan favorite. In the 2019-2020 season, he had a career-high 20 wins and helped lead the team to the playoffs. He also made several standout saves and provided much-needed stability in the net for the Wild. Stalock's competitive spirit and work ethic are admired by his teammates and coaches, and he continues to make an impact in the NHL. Read even more about Alex Stalock at Wikipedia
